Vote for ME!!!

Or at least for the Liberal Democrats, thats if you are Jamie and/or Hilary and live (and vote) in England or elsewhere in the UK

Who should I vote for?

Your expected outcome:

Liberal Democrat

Your actual outcome:

Labour -18
Conservative -55
Liberal Democrat 66
UK Independence Party -55
Green -15

You should vote: Liberal Democrat

The LibDems take a strong stand against tax cuts and a strong one in favour of public services: they would make long-term residential care for the elderly free across the UK, and scrap university tuition fees. They are in favour of a ban on smoking in public places, but would relax laws on cannabis. They propose to change vehicle taxation to be based on usage rather than ownership.

Actually, this morning I was toying with the idea of voting for UKIP or Veritas (Kilroy Silk’s party) just so I can f*ck up this country before I leave. I reckon it might be good for Europe (and bad for the UK) if the UK got out of the EU and stopped f*cking whining all the time.

Of course, if I actually cared about the future of the UK, I’d probably vote LibDem – just enough to get a hung parliment so neither the Conservatives nor Labour can screw up too badly.

    Overall, on the

    internationalism

Your position on this axis is -3.4
You are likely to be fairly internationalist and rehabilitationist.
    Economics, etc

On crime and punishment, Europe, and other transnational issues including immigration and international law.

Your position on this axis is 0.8
You are likely to be slightly free-market and pro-war.

    Apparently, I’m fairly leftwing!

    * 6.4% are significantly to your left
    * 10.5% have views about the same as yours
    * 83.0% are significantly to your right

And “You didn’t tell us which party you intend to vote for, but on your answers we judge — against this axis only — that your best match is the Green party. The graph below shows how your views compare to the views of Green voters. But… not very many people intend to vote for that party, so this might be wildly off.”

And “You told us that you read another newspaper. Ho-hum. On your answers on this axis, we judge that your best match is The Independent. The graph below shows how your views compare to the views of readers of The Independent.”

But on the internationalist axis I’m in a place where
” * 45.3% are significantly to your left
    * 43.5% have views about the same as yours
    * 11.3% are significantly to your right”
    !!!

“You didn’t tell us which party you intend to vote for, but on your answers we judge — against this axis only — that your best match is the Conservative party. The graph below shows how your views compare to the views of Conservative voters.”
