Haven’t done any foot blogging for a while. Mostly because I haven’t been doing that much exercise in the last few weeks. This week everything is back to normal; fencing, a couple of aerobics classes, some gym stuff and even a walk into college in the mornings. One morning anyway! I’m even thinking of maybe possible considering going back running at lunchtime, now that Denis has time again. After all our december fun run isn’t so far away.

In general the feet/knees have been fine, some pain now and again but no discomfort from just walking around as there was before. Initially I was sort of fighting against the orthotics, especially in fencing where I had been using some modified positions to make sure my lunges etc were good. This wednesday everything was more relaxed, probably in part thanks to aerobics on tuesday and my stance was pretty good (for once!!). And it looks like Nev will have my epee ready soon so I get to move back in time and up the hierarchy of weapons. A few weeks ago we had visitors from Brighton, and while I didn’t get a chance to get a quick rapier lesson, that looks like a lot of fun as well.
