So we got a TV

Ben moved out; leaving lots of stuff behind, and John moved in over the weekend.

And John brought a TV with him. So far we haven’t used it for much as we don’t have any remote control for it or an aerial. But someday this week the cable-guy is gong to call and then we’ll have a nice digital box with its own remote control. Hurrah!

Next Jamie and Hilary have to get a TV, we can’t be the only ones surrendering to the box.

So we can look forward to daily updates on the events at Coronation St, Eastenders, Emmerdale, Hollyoaks, Nuacht and repeats of Friends/Cheers/Frasier/Will&Grace/Mork&Mindy?
Any chance of a Monday review of Channel 4’s 100 Greatest [insert mainstream topic here] where you you will start a forum on whether or not Del Boy falling through an open bar is funnier than Sam Fox & The Tall Bloke from Fleetwood Mac presenting an awards ceremony back when Sam was pointing north?
A new excuse, now get back to f*cking work!

I also have a tv now. And I think I have ‘most’ of my stuff!

Have you noticed the way if you sit in the same room and leave the tv off you feel like your missing something? I’m thinking of getting a large dust cloth/rug thing to put over it so it can’t talk to me.
